Children should wear their correct uniform with satin ballet shoes and socks for ballet candidates. Hair should be as it will be for exam day please.

9.15am-10.00am Pre-Primary Ballet (£3.00)

10.00am-10.30am Primary Modern (£2.00)

10.30am-11.15am Primary Ballet (£3.00)

11.15am-12.15pm Grade 2 Modern (£4.00)

12.15pm-1.00pm Bronze Jazz (£3.00)

It is VERY important that all chlldren attend the mock exam as it will be their only chance to practice in the exam venue.

Some of our Saturday morning pupils are very excited to be performing in fetes throughout Lewes this Summer. They have been working on routines in classes and are ready to entertain audiences with their ballet and modern skills!

Looking for something to keep your children occupied with this Half Term?

Come and join us for 4 hours of Halloween fun on the 29th October 2015!

1.30pm-5.30pm @ Malling Community Centre, Lewes.

This one day Halloween dance workshop will be sure to entertain your children during the half term! They will learn a special scary dance routine to show at the end of the day to parents, plus there will be lots of fun Halloween games included as well! Come along in fancy dress and there will be a prize for the scariest Halloween costume!!

This workshop is open to all children aged 4-13 and your child doesn’t have to be a pupil at SLH Dance Academy to attend! It will be a great chance to have lots of fun with your friends and make lots of new ones! So please get sharing with anyone who may be interested in coming along.

The price is just £15 for the workshop and prizes will be included within the cost.

Dance Club at South Malling Primary School Lewes has launched… 

Come along and join us for an hour of dancing fun in this energetic, creative and fun after school dance club. Running Monday afternoons at 4.20pm-5.20pm in the school hall. It is open to all children in year 4,5 and 6. 

You will learn how to leap, kick, turn and perform whilst dancing to your favourite chart songs. All abilities are welcome just come along and give it a go!

We are very excited to launch the first ever Summer School at SLH Dance Academy!! 

Infants: Tuesday 28th July- Thursday 30th July ( 4-6 year olds)
Juniors: Monday 27th July- Thursday 30th July (7 year olds+)

The school will run 10.00am-2pm each day at the Malling Community Centre with an informal performance on the Thursday at 2pm to friends and family.

The cost for the 3 day Infant course will be £45.00 
The cost for the 4 day Junior course will be £60.00

The Summer School will involve fun dance classes learning routines to a variety of different songs and styles such as Jazz, Musical theatre and Street Dance. There will be games and arts and crafts also during the day as well. It will be lots of fun and a lovely way tomake new friends, stay active and keep up with the dancing fun over the summer holidays!

Open to all children whether they are a pupil of SLH Dance Academy or not so do bring along your children’s friends!

OPEN CLASSES 2015 

We are coming to the end of classes for this term and I am pleased to announce that families and friends are invited to come and watch classes on Saturday 28th March. I look forward to seeing lots of you there to see your child’s progress this term! 

I am looking to start an Adult Tap and/or Jazz class after Easter. This will be a great way to keep fit and have a bit of fun at the same time in a relaxed and friendly environment! Whether you have danced before or are a complete beginner looking to learn a new skill then get in touch!
