Lyrical dance is a popular dance style that combines ballet, jazz and contemporary dance techniques. It is an expressive and emotive style of dance that focuses on the fluidity of movement. Emphasis is on developing a dancers individual style and lyrics in the music will inspire the dancers movement. Pupils work on technique in this non syllabus class and learn free lyrical and contemporary choreography each week alongside perfecting their turns, kicks and leaps! 

These classes are perfect for pupils who wish to combine their ballet and jazz technique all whilst learning a new skill in contemporary dance!

Pupils can start in Lyrical/Contemporary from year 4 + and the classes run on Saturdays in Lewes!
