What a great start to the school year it has been! It has been so lovely to welcome everyone back to classes this term and also welcome lots of new faces to SLH Dance Academy. Everyone has settled so well into their classes and there has been lots of energy and enthusiasm show in all classes so far!

October Half Term Workshop
What a lovely day we had at our Halloween half term workshop! All the students who attended did brilliantly and we had so much fun! Next holiday workshop will be in Feb half term so keep your eyes peeled for that…
Term Dates
Monday 2nd November – Saturday 12th December (6 week term)

Monday 14th December- Musical Theatre with Melodie
Monday 14th December- Grade 1 Modern, G6 Modern, G5 Ballet classes @ South Malling School 4.00pm-6.45pm
Wednesday 16th December- Miss Holly’s classes @ South Malling School
Bring a Friend Week
During the w/c 2nd November, all SLH students are invited to bring one friend of their choice along to one of their usual dance classes.
It’s a great opportunity for our students to share the fun of dance with their friend so if you know someone who has been thinking about starting a class then this is the perfect time for them to try!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Choose one friend you’d like to invite
- Email us to let us know your child would like to invite someone.
- Invite your friend and ask them to email slhdanceacademy@hotmail.com to book their free place
- Come along and enjoy a fun class together
Classes will run as normal, with a lovely focus on friendship, fun and dancing together!
Parent Watching Classes
We are excited to invite parents in to watch students in action and see what they have been working on in classes this term. Please join us on the following dates to come and watch your child’s class

Monday 7th December– The last 15 minutes of Musical Theatre classes @ Kings Church
Tuesday 8th December– All classes (including pre-school) @ Malling Community Centre with Lydia, Sophie & Katie
Wednesday 9th December– All classes @ South Malling Primary School with Holly
Saturday 12th December– All classes @ Malling Community Centre with Sophie
Saturday 12th December– All classes @ South Malling Primary School with Lauren
